Patti grew up in Yellow Springs, where her father, Meredith Dallas, was head of the Drama Department at Antioch College. After many years’ absence, she moved back to town in 1996 with her daughter, Nathania. In addition to hosting, Patti is an independent filmmaker and singer/musician (Banjo & Flute.) Her specialty is performing for children and seniors. She has produced several musical recordings for children with Laura Baron, under their own label, Golden Glow Music (www.goldenglowmusic.com). Patti loves her hometown, and enjoys showing people around.
Marianne recently retired as the director of the local affordable housing organization, Home, Inc. She also helped to pioneer the Village Mediation Program, and was the Director of Community Service, Inc., a community education and resource organization that was founded by Arthur Morgan a former president of Antioch College. Marianne is a skilled carpenter and seamstress. She designed the living room of the Guesthouse, made some of the curtains and the slipcover for the sofa bed, and does ongoing upkeep and repairs.
